We booked a River Wild Camper Van (Pirta) to explore Denali National Park. We could not have asked for a better way to camp and explore! We had everything we needed to include two camping chairs, a folding table, two burner stove, jet boil and all your cooking equipment. The van was clean inside and out and rode smoothly. We were surprised at what good gas mileage we got as we drove from anchorage to Denali and on up to Fairbanks. They were super accommodating to allow a late return at a small fee. The van was spot on and comfortable for the entirety of the trip. I thoroughly enjoyed how Carolyn walked me through the in's and out's and how to operate the controls. She has incredible hospitality and does everything possible to ensure the renter has a comfortable and turbulence free experience from pick up to drop off. I absolutely enjoyed the van, but, space inside is limited for storage - as a fair warning. Overall though, I would highly recommend River Wild for anyone boondocking in Alaska.

The RV was great and fit our needs perfectly. We wanted flexibility to go where we wanted to go, without having to pin a time on it. That allowed us to change around some of our itinerary because of weather conditions. The sleeping accommodations were comfortable, but I could see someone who is tall or large feeling a bit squeezed. We had negligible lodging and food costs compared to what we would have had without the RV. The RV was well equipped and clean, as well as reliable and comfortable.So our Alaska trip was an awesome adventure which we very much enjoyed. Thank you River Wild!
