Get outside your comfort zone and enjoy a few nights off grid camping or stay in a full service RV Park or Campground, it's up to you.Weitere wichtige DingeWe expect our Winnebago Solis 59P to be returned in the same condition that you picked it up.Arrival and Departure Logistics: We need about an hour (scheduled in advance) when you will be arriving to go over the functions of the RV before you take off with the Denali Dreamer. This hour can be scheduled between 8 AM and 8 PM. When you return to drop the camper van off, it will take at least forty five minutes to inspect the van together and sign you off.Keep in mind that while we want you to have a lot of fun, there are a few limitations as to where you are allowed to take the Denali Dreamer. We do not allow the vehicle to leave Alaska, nor do we allow it on the Dalton highway north of Fairbanks. The Denali highway (different from the Denali National Park road) and the road going to Kennecott are permissible but keep in mind these roads are gravel and flat tires and damage to vehicles from rocks is likely to occur. Renters are responsible for the cost of any damages that occur to the vehicle. There are no towing companies that will pick you up on these roads so breakdowns and repairs due to misuse of the vehicle will be very expensive. The vehicle is definitely not designed for off-roading(4x4) and should stay on well maintained roads and highways.Also, while we know you might enjoy the hunting and fishing that is unique to Alaska, you can cook fish in the vehicle, but we do not allow any cleaning of fish or game in the RV. Please keep these activities outside so that no foul odors are left in the vehicle.We want you to enjoy Alaska your way, but keep in mind that other renters would like to enjoy the same experience after your trip in our Campervan. So to sum it up:
No Smoking or smoke of any kind
No Pets
No air fresheners (for those who are chemically sensitive)
No Off-Roading
No cleaning fish or game inside the CampervanFailure to return the van to us in same condition as you received it from us when you picked it up incurs a $350 cleaning fee that we will retain from your deposit.

Heidi provides excellent communication, is friendly, and very helpful, offering tips and guidance on the van and trips. One reviewer noted slow communication and particularity on cleanliness.
Easy to drive and park
The 2022 Winnebago Solis handles well, is easy to navigate, and fits in regular parking spaces. It's clean, well-stocked, comfortable, and features a water system/bath and a spacious pop-up roof tent. One review mentioned old tires.

5.0We came to Alaska to explore the Kenai and with how vast this state is a van was the right move. We were able to stop at many places along the way and had a great trip. The van was comfortable and easy to navigate and park in regular parking spaces for the most part which was a plus!

5.0Great experience in the van! Definitely a plus to have the water system/bath over some other vans you could rent in the area. Very approachable vehicle size and they keep it very stocked inside. Check-in was with someone else besides the host but they were helpful and easy. The tires were quite old but held up ok. The pop up is really nice to have and makes it super roomy. Would 100% rent again (as long as the tires get changed)

5.0We had such an amazing experience in Alaska, and the vehicle we rented was perfect for our trip. I haven't boon-docked or dry camped very often, but I realized on this trip that when you have the right equipment, it is so easy and enjoyable! I didn't have to give up any comforts that I wanted! We did an inland "tour" from Anchorage to Seward to Homer to Whittier to Valdez (via ferry) to Glenallen to Willow to Denali and back to Anchorage. It was absolutely incredible and I loved every single minute of the whole trip. The van was perfect for all of our needs! We loved having the option of sleeping inside the camper and sleeping up top in the roof top tent. We did a few nights of each depending on where we were. That was a fun option! Thank you to the host for their hospitality and teaching us about the van and the equipment! If we have the opportunity to travel to Alaska again, we would not hesitate to rent again!

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

We are flexible with pick up and drop off times only if informed in advance and confirmed with both you and us. We both work full time and will have to schedule the pick up and drop off in. If you need to change your time after our initial booking, please let us know well in advance and we will let you know what our flexibility will be on the day you are picking up or dropping off.
