Gerty is a 2023 Thor Delano, built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van chassis, and powered by an efficient diesel engine. Gerty will sleep a family of 5-6, 2 adults on the queen-sized Murphy bed that tucks away to give you extra room when you're not sleeping, a dinette that converts to a bed that would hold sleep kids, and an over-cab bunk as well that would sleep 2 kids. Equipped with a two burner stove and induction/microwave, and a nice sized refrigerator that can run on electricity or propane. Gerty is jam-packed with other great features, including A/C, furnace, tankless water heater system, a great shower, diesel generator for dry camping if you need some electricity, and European style cabinetry. She has a nice sized TV and music system, and plenty of storage inside.Outside, there's an electric awning with cool LED lighting, and tons of storage for any toys you want to bring along. The water tank will hold 30 gallons of water, or can be hooked up to city water. Gray and black water tanks are 38 gallons each. Shore power can be used at your favorite campground to keep everything charged and running all day longGerty is so nice to drive, as you would expect for a Mercedes-Benz! Jerry’s RV (Getty) was awesome! 3 weeks, almost 4,000 miles, 5 states…it was a fantastic adventure and if I do another trip again I’d rent this same RV in a heartbeat. Jerry was an outstanding owner/host and made sure everything was going well during the trip.

The Delano (Girty) was an excellent veihicle and venue on wheels to visit family and friends in NM and Santa Fe without intruding on their living space. It was super easy to drive and setup with the instruction given from the owner. We had never used a RV motor home and had a great experience doing so, what a great way to explore the US. It was super easy to to extend our stay by 1 day with the the OK from the owner.
