Franky is a 16ft Caravel Airstream that has ample room for two but can sleep up to four people.
Comes stocked with everything that you will need for your trip and is great for both short and long getaways!
Easy to tow because of its efficient size and equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable, relaxing time away. Franky is the perfect trailer for new OR experienced travelers with the airstream quality and comfort that you won't find anywhere else.
***To tow renters must have a vehicle capable of pulling 3,500 pounds, a hitch receiver, and a 7 pin trailer cord connected with trailer break. A little farther out is one of our all time favorites: Padre National Seashore which is a few hours away on the Gulf of Mexico. Miles and miles of beach to camp on, great for disconnecting, spending time on the water, and fishing! Even further out Big Bend National Park is amazing and a worthwhile adventure for any Texan or visitor alike. While local spots are our favorites to frequent, Franky has been all over the country! My best RV experience ever! I've owned several RVs in my life, but this Airstream was a ton of fun :) You get all the joy and none of the pain of owning , maintaining and storing an RV. Estevan keeps this RV in Like New condition and he stocks it with absolutely everything that you need, right down to the paper towels. His detailed pre-flight briefing on all the systems was excellent and made the trip truly enjoyable!!!

Awesome price for high quality. Trailer is easy to pull, operate and maintain. Host was very knowledgeable, helpful and available for all my questions. Very accommodating with pick-up and drop off.

We loved Frankie! We spent 6 nights “boondocking” at the Rio Grand Village Campsite in Big Bend and Frankie was perfect. Comfortable, cute (we had numerous other campers admiring her as they walked by). This was our first experience trailer camping and we’re hooked! Estevan gave us a thorough walkthrough and towing was easy with our Kia Teluride.

2nd time renting Frankie! Brought the whole family this time. Kept us warm at night. Recommend Jester King Brewery for the drinks, and the goats!

This was our first Airstream experience. Estevan made it fun and easy. Pick up was convenient and Estevan walked through all of the key features and had the right equipment for our vehicle. We towed the RV with our Toyota Sequoia without any problems. The unit is very clean and well equipped with linens and pots/pans/dishes and soap/shampoo/toilet paper. We were nice and warm inside the RV even with temps outside below freezing. We enjoyed the sound system paired with our cell phone. Great size for a couple. We spent the weekend near Dripping Springs, camping at The Fitz RV resort and Pedernales Falls State Park. Lots of fun at distilleries and breweries. Also check out Abby Jane Bakery and The Texas Hill Country Olive Company. We will definitely rent again from Estevan!

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Take it step by step and follow the thorough checklists we provide. We will make ourselves available to literally walk you through all the need-to-know information before your getaway.
Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We will do our best to work with renters to coordinate pickup and drop off to make things as low lift as possible. We understand that things happen, so we will work with and around those issues. Ideally we will ask that pickup and drop-off happen during the afternoons, but every pickup and drop off will be a conversation during the booking process!
Q.When is it too cold or hot to rent?
A.
Franky is built well with things to keep things hot or cold when it's the opposite outside. We recommend that you don't venture out when nights are falling much below freezing or when temps are very hot out without shore power. Franky has awesome natural ventilation to keep air fresh inside. Central air means AC or hot air via the propane furnace. Please keep in mind the AC does need shore power to operate.
We've spend cold nights in the Utah mountains and hot nights on the beach without issue!
Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Franky is a boondocking dream meaning you won't need to hookup to use the electric, bathroom, etc. Freshwater and blackwater tanks mean sink, shower, and toilet can be used everywhere. Hooking into shore power, city water and sewage does have its perks. Using the AC will quickly kill the batteries so it's not recommended on solar. The traditional power ports and microwave will only work while on shore power due to demand. There are USB ports which work regardless and are perfect for charging!
