“The Alpine Explorer” 1997 Dodge Sprinter 2500

Amazing experience! Flew in from Colorado, airport trip from hell, was delayed 11 hours. Finally got to Portland and Khaled graciously allowed us to pick up the van late at night! My wife and I had a beautiful trip all the way down the coast via the 101 past Eureka, CA into the redwoods. Attended a close friends magical wedding amongst the giant trees, and drove back up the coast enjoying the most fabulous campsites and seafood the West Coast offers! The van performed beautifully and had such a cozy, homey vibe, definitely made the trip memorable! Averaged about 17mpg which was better than I was expecting, especially with gas prices as high as they are right now! Khaled checked in towards the end and drop-off was simple; great guy, would have loved to of had the time to buy him a beer! All in all, had an absolute blast and was a road trip my wife and I will cherish for life! 10/10!! PS, writing this at 34,000 ft with Southwest WiFi after being delayed, once again, for 7 hours, lol

Would highly recommend! The gas mileage was better than expected & the communication with Khalid was great throughout the whole process! The van itself worked great plus a lot of storage & space even with two checked bags. We really enjoyed our time exploring the coast in this van!

We had the most incredible trip to the Oregon Coast and it was only made better by this little van. It was our first time in the area and first time renting on Outdoorsy. The rental and pick up process was super easy and Khaled made sure to give us a solid run down of the van so we felt very comfortable hitting the road. Driving along the coast was stunning and we felt the van offered a beautiful panoramic view. We managed to figure out the bluetooth sound system (thank you youtube) to maximize our good vibes. There was so much storage space for all our gear, and it was such a cool experience to explore around and have everything with us in the van. I typically get tired of driving but I found it was so enjoyable riding around in this thing, it felt like an experience in itself and I really got to take in the sights from the driver’s seat. The bed was cozy, however I would recommend bringing extra blankets for cold nights and we found it more comfortable to add another duvet on top of the mattress as it can be a little thin. I also agree with other reviews that the bed may be a little short for anyone over 5’8. The return process was also seamless and Khaled was very responsive via messages and flexible in terms of timing. We loved it so much we can’t wait to come back! Khaled was extremely communicative and lenient with our trip plans. He gave us suggestions as well as properly prepared us for anything that may arise during our trip. The van worked perfectly and helped fulfill one of our dream trips! We will definitely book again whenever we are back in Oregon!

This van was super fun! It got us through our hot springs road trip with no issues. In fact, it made us want to get a van of our own. We got about 18 mpg which was better than I expected. Bed may be a little short for anyone taller than 5”9 but it worked for us. Would rent again!
