As a kid I hated going camping. I hated the dirt, the smoke, showering with a bucket and the bugs - lots and lots of bugs. My mother on the other hand loved to go camping. She spent days getting ready to "head to the hills" and she brought all the comforts of home: a world war 2 army surplus tent; old wool blankets; boxes and boxes of dishes, pots, pans, clothespins, bent forks and spoons and just about anything else you could imagine. One summer she bought an old 15 foot travel trailer. Instead of camping we went "tramping" (trailer camping). I still hated going, but at least there was a sink with almost warm running water and a table to sit and eat at. Fast forward 35 years and our family has done our share of camping in tents and trailers; as well as being full time Rv'rs for over 12 years. We've learned a lot, not only about camping, but also about appreciating the helpful hand from the campers next to us; seeing children playing and laughing; and being cold in the morning while fixing breakfast until the campfire gets going. It's about the dirt and the smoke and the beach towels hanging from a rope strung between 2 trees. So what is our business? Our business is about providing you the means to spend time by yourself, with your friends, family and others outside of your every day environment. Our business is to offer you an rv that is safe to drive and clean to live in while on vacation. And, our business is to offer you the opportunity to explore and experience life; to educate yourself and your children in a lifestyle quickly vanishing from our society; and it's also about testing yourself, living in the moment and being more self aware -- albeit with a few more "comforts of home"!!!
