2017 Coachmen Prism Mercedes Benz Motorhome.

The whole experience was seamless. I will definitely be renting again. It was a perfect size for my family of 6. The diesel engine and automatic stabilizers really make a difference.

The RV met our overall expectations. This was our first time RVing and the overall experience was acceptable, however there were a few maintenance items that could have been addressed prior to our rental reservation. The awning, outdoor lights and hookups were all great, which i'm sure is standard for an RV rental like this. Communication on the front end was not great. After finding my own answers to my questions I decided to press forward with this RV anyhow due to the size and slide out feature. The tutorial video suggested there were folding chairs provided, which wasn't accurate but wasn't a problem. We stayed at a place with full hookups which felt like a necessity for this rental. Shower drainage was poor & toilet leaked terribly (if we did not have sewage hookups and had to go to a dump site every day it would've ruined our trip). With that said, there was not a sewage line support stand so I had to tilt the waste water out of the hose after every shower & flush of the toilet. Fortunately where we stayed had bath houses because we ended up using that to avoid showering in the RV and dealing with water leaks. The steps to get in & out of the RV was super sketch - I was worried about my 3 y.o. & 2 y.o. tumbling down them every time they wanted to climb in/out of the RV. I could not get the oven inside the RV lit, so we ended up using the firepit outside to cook - stovetops worked fine. The pin in the door handle to get in & out of the back was SUPER annoying because it wouldn't stay seated and made the door inoperable at times (in other words my wife got stuck inside and had to climb out of the passenger door). Air circulation throughout the rear cabin when driving was suboptimal. Thankfully just me and one child were riding in the RV while my wife and other child followed in our SUV. I could not have imagine having the whole family loaded in the RV to drive multiple hours to a campsite - especially when on the return trip the toilet smell filled the entire RV and was fairly unbearable. I suppose that was why the air freshener smell was so strong when we picked up the RV... On a positive note, it drives well, and diesel engine was easy to work with. In the end, I likely would not choose this vehicle to rent again.

DO NOT RENT THIS RV! I REPEAT DO NOT RENT THIS RV! Going to court to fight for our refund that he said he was going to give but never did!!! I mean where do I start with this RV… AC in cab works half the time, RV door is broken when trying to get out the RV, rv inside is basically falling apart, and the worst part, is instead on treating his black tank before he left, the guy went to Vegas and left his rv with a Freind to pick up! Me and my family had to get an Air B&B the smell was soooooo bad coming from the bathroom!! And instead of worrying about the health of my family, and doing everything is his power to make this right, the guy ghost us and puts it all on us! Well gladly see this scum bag in court! Shame on outdoorsy for letting someone with this kind of rv to be rented!!! Will never use this site again! Thanks for ruining our family vacation!

Cornelius was awesome to work with. Super communicative, nice, and informative. This is our first time and he made it super awesome.
