With the 4x4 you can also access nice public land spots.We just bought this trailer for our visiting family and friends. With the camping experience, we gained in the last years, this is the best way to explore Colorado. It is as small as possible but still fits all. You don't need a Campground, they are booked out anyway. The trailer can be easily towed on forest roads to free campsites on public lands. You can detach the car from there and drive to trailheads etc.

When camping off grid you can use the fridge, heater, electric awning, slide out etc. When hooked up on a campsite you can also enjoy the AC and microwave.
