Enjoy an off-grid glamping nature retreat in this beautifully renovated Airstream Land Yacht designed to calm the senses, quiet the mind and inspire the spirit. Not intended to be towed, this Airstream is located in an extremely private location high on a peak in Calistoga that was sacred to Native Americans. It feels very remote yet is only a 10-minute drive from the town of Calistoga.The convertible sofa opens into a medium-firm bed (queen length, full width) with an extra thick mattress topper. The built-in hall sofa opens into a bed slightly larger than a twin. Bed linens, down comforter, towels, biodegradable soap/shampoo/conditioner are provided.Arrival is via a slightly rough dirt road which is generally fine for any vehicle with good tires, as long as you take it slowly.The Tubbs Fire burned this area in October 2017. It's now a wonderful place to witness regeneration of life and nature.There is space for up to two additional guests to camp in a tent (please see "Add-ons").A single solar roof panel powers the stereo, lights and water pump mostly only while the sun is out. At night, lighting is from solar lanterns and water from a pitcher. Warm water is provided from solar showers which can be taken indoor or outdoor. There is no refrigeration but a small Yeti cooler is provided with ice for use during your stay (but please be sure to leave the Yeti cooler when you depart for the last time).Please refer to written driving instructions that we'll send you prior to your arrival, as your GPS may not function nor lead you to exactly the right place.

Before the pandemic shifted things, I'd been a full-time yoga teacher (and teacher trainer) for 20 years. I started living in tiny houses (on land, water and wheels) as a practical means to follow my heart to become a yoga teacher. Along the way I discovered a deep love for the simplicity and minimalism of living and traveling in small spaces surrounded by nature.
In this spirit I offer my Burro vintage travel trailer for others to enjoy and experience closeness with nature.
