2018 Grand Design Reflection
Stella is our 2018 Grand Design 290BH fifth wheel. She’s our second home, that we have enjoyed traveling the country with. From snow in the Rockies to record breaking desert heat in Zion National Park, this rig has done it all. The bunk room is equipped with two lofted beds, allowing for underneath storage and play space for the kiddos. It even has shelving to bring along your favorite toys and outdoor accessories. The master room includes a super comfy queen bed with a foam topper. Ample storage above and under the bed for clothing and adventure gear. The master also includes drawers and space for hanging clothes. There is a separate A/C unit in the master, while the main A/C cools the kitchen/living area and the bunk room. Don’t worry, on the cool nights, there is propane heat to keep everyone toasty and warm. The kitchen dinette folds out to a bed and also has ample storage under the booths. The couch folds out into a bed as well. The kitchen is equipped with a large deep sink, stovetop, oven and refrigerator/freezer. We have included basic kitchen necessities from silverware to serve ware. There is a mini fridge on the exterior rig and a blackstone griddle great for Saturday morning bacon and eggs. Ample store underneath the RV for more adventure gear. The one slide and awning are both automated and easy to open with the click of a button. We are an adventurous family of four that loves to travel and always up for an adventure. We sold our home in October 2020 to travel the US full time. We brought our two toddlers and chocolate lab along while we traveled many places from South Carolina to Montana. Our favorite place is Colorado, we love the mountains and hiking. We love traveling so much that we want others to have opportunities to experience the same adventures we had and are excited to rent out our 34-foot fifth wheel that we full-timed in for a while.
