5What a fantastic trip! We rented the Airstream to keep in one place and Kyle delivered it to us which was super convenient. Huxley is clean, roomy, and super comfortable! Little touches like snacks, flowers, and a welcome card made it even better. We stayed with our infant and were able to fashion a little baby nook for him which worked great. It was a major plus that we could have our dog along with us. We were so happy with our stay and would definitely rent again!

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

Insurance coverage begins as soon as the keys are in your hand. Plan at least 90 minutes for pickup orientation and adjusting to fit your tow vehicle. If you need the trailer for an early morning departure, please schedule a half-day prior. We are also happy to delivery to a stationary campsite within 120 miles of Central Colorado.

Can my vehicle safely tow a 27' Airstream?
A.
As a retired Air Force pilot, we will review your vehicle's performance specs together. Some mid-sized SUV's are rated for this towing capacity, but the most common limitation is actually maximum tongue weight which has to do with the suspension of your vehicle. The tow rating of your vehicle does not necessarily mean all towing parameters are within safe limits.

The real question: can my tow vehicle tow IN THE MOUNTAINS?
A.
Being at high-altitude, any vehicle equipped with a 5.7L Hemi should be able to tow uphill on I-70 without slowing down much, but EXTREME CAUTION should be always used on the downhill. Put your flashers on, downshift all the way, get in the right lane with the semi-trucks. Always keep downhill speeds below 45mpg on any posted steep grade.
