I rented this RV for a 3 week travel of 2 people (me and a friend), to view the solar eclipse, do sightseeing and visit several friends in Texas and Arkansas. The RV is a home-built design and I was the first one who rented it. This explains why there were several little design issues, and due to a freezing event in Texas earlier this year, a leaking valve had to be fixed. But the owner family (Kayla and Salem Malik) did everything they could to get me on the road as fast as possible, so the delay was just about half a day, and they refunded me for the full day. They also fully refunded my spendings to buy what was missing in the RV (inverter, window curtains, storage boxes, bungee cords to secure baggage), and gave me a fair discount on the rental fee on top, to make up for the inconvenience. The other design issues were very minor and didn't affect us much for what we used the RV for. On the upside I should mention that I slept every night in the RV, even when visiting friends, since the matress is really comfortable (memory foam), and blankets and head cushions are also provided. And the RV frame as built by Mercedes worked very reliably and without any issues during the entire ~3000 miles that I covered. I gave Kayla and Salem a complete list of things to be improved, so you can expect a better RV when you rent it. Please make sure following things have been fixed: Inverter installed, window curtains present, bed easier to fold or storage boxes provided below the bed (which you can then leave unfolded for the entire trip), microwave oven firmly secured, gauges present for battery voltage and fresh/grey/black water tanks, waste water outlet below car moved such that it doesn't take away ground clearance in the back. But most importantly, if you find anything else that's missing or encounter issues of any kind, you couldn't find better and fairer business partners than Kayla and Salem to take care of it. I had a wonderful trip, the rental price was very fair and the owners were as cooperative as can be. That's why they deserve a 5 star rating.
