Ready For Adventure: 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Extended 4x4

Surprisingly easy to drive Sprinter Van. Worked out well for our weekend trip to Joshua Tree

The Sprinter was not delivered in clean or properly maintained condition. Interior surfaces and seats were dirty, some windows were secured with tape, and the vehicle did not feel rental-ready. We were already en route to pick up family flying in for a pre-planned trip, so cancelling was not an option and we had no flexibility to secure another vehicle. The bathroom setup was not clearly represented. The toilet was a bag-based system rather than a standard RV toilet, and there was a persistent odor that spread through the vehicle whenever the bathroom door was opened. We were unable to use the toilet during the trip. The bathroom/shower door was made of thin, unstable plastic, did not shut properly, and would slide open unexpectedly. It felt unsafe and poorly constructed. There was also a constant rattling sound while driving, which added to the discomfort and raised concerns about the vehicle’s condition. Additional safety issues included no intermediate step for entering/exiting the vehicle and no safe access to the upper bed. My sister injured her foot stepping down. Because of the odor and overall condition, we had to secure last-minute lodging at Death Valley Inn for $700, as it was the only available option. Photos and videos document these issues. Unfortunately, this rental did not meet basic standards of cleanliness, safety, or accurate representation.

Omri was great showed me how to make the most of the vehicle and was very helpful if I messaged him with questions.

Omri saved the day! Had a van alined up for Friday through Sunday for a Father/ Daughter camping trip until it was cancelled 24 hours prior to leaving. I found Omri’s van and he made it available instantly. We had an amazing time using the van and would love to do it again! Thank You
