Responsive, but poor problem solver
Carlos received praise for communication and easy pick-up/drop-off. However, he was dismissive of severe in-trip issues (broken lock, non-functional fridge/battery), didn't answer calls for help, and refused refunds.

1.0The mattress is terrible. Feels like you’re sleeping on plywood. The door had a broken dead bolt that would move towards the locked position each time the door was opened until eventually it would lock you out of the camper. I had to climb through the window 3 times to access the camper. The 3rd time I had to take the latch apart and remove the deadbolt to open the door. He said he knew about that. The refrigerator malfunctioned. It would only work while the generator was on. We lost half our food overnight. The battery would not take a charge and had to deal with no power at night. I described all of the issues to Carlos and his response was… well it’s a rental sooo you know to bad. He didn’t answer my call when I called about the lock issue and did not offer any discount. We cut our trip short. He didn’t offer a refund for returning the camper early or for all of the issues. Very poor customer service and his response was even worse. I would never rent from Carlos again. What a joke

5.0Carlos was great and explained everything we needed to know about the trailer! The trailer was perfect for us and our 2 dogs. I felt comfortable and safe at night! The bathroom was so roomy and everything ran perfectly! We’ll definitely rent from Carlos again!
