2017 Forest River Salem Cruise Lite

The camper was fine. When we got to the lake and were setting up we found that the gas didn’t work, had a leak, and one of the stabilizer jacks didn’t have the right size but on it to lower it. Will make sure all things work next time we rent.

Fantastic camper—everything worked exactly as it should. You can tell it’s been well-loved, which actually made me feel more comfortable using it. It’s noticeably taller and wider than many single-axle campers, so I’d recommend having tow mirrors for better visibility. We rent from Outdoorsy frequently, usually from individual owners. Steve’s setup really stands out. They handle everything smoothly and have a refreshingly realistic approach to renting—understanding that the camper is meant to be used and enjoyed.

The renter was very helpful and catered to our needs. The trailer could use some interior wear and tear updates as well as more padding on the bed. Overall it was a good experience.

Rv was great! We had a blast. Will be renting from Steven in the future.

Advertised with unlimited generator hour but had no generator. Leaky clean water line, causing multiple fills.

Vehicle would not pull the trailer safely so we decided to return the trailer so we did not damage our vehicle. The trailer was returned within 30 mins of departing. Steve met us and was understanding of our concerns and also stated that Outdoorsy would probably work with us to refund at least part of the fee since we did not take the trailer. I contacted Outdoorsy when we got home and was told the host had to initiate the return. I contacted Steve to advise and he was unresponsive from that point on, which was a little disappointing based on actions and comments while we were there. While we understand the potential loss of revenue, we believe we should get a portion of the costs back since we did not use the trailer.
