Subaru drives great overall
The Subaru Outback runs great, with its only minor limitation being cruise control in mountainous terrain. The roof top tent is consistently praised for being easy to deploy, repack, clean, and keeping occupants dry in bad weather. Vehicle and tent are clean and in great shape.

5.0We cant say enough about how amazing Matthew is. He was quick to respond and answer any questions making him very helpful with the booking. The Subaru outback ran great (the only reason it got 4 stars is because you can’t use cruise control in the mountains, which was fine but if we were able to use it- it would have been easier in some ways) other than that he hooked us up with the stove, propane, sleeping bags etc.. almost everything we needed as we were travelling from Canada and did not have access to a camping gear. The roof top tent was very easy to set up and clean! This was our first time booking on outdoorsy and hope that if we do so again we have a similar experience like we did when renting from Matthew. 5.0The car had no issues at any point, the tent was super easy to deploy and repack, and all the camping amenities were great. Matthew was a great host and was always accessible through message or phone. All in all, there were zero issues and the set up was perfect for a week of dispersed camping in the mountains. Highly recommend!

5.0Matt was communicative and very quick to respond to any and all questions as soon as we booked. This was our first rooftop tent experience and we loved it! We weren’t very lucky with weather during our week long stay but managed to stay dry and warm through 6 nights of downpour with thunder and lightening. The tent was easy to dry (and quick at that!) with the provided towels each morning before packing up camp and moving on to the next spot. The ease & accessibility of this tent made our experience touring Colorado as incredible as it could’ve been!
