Height Clearance: Vehicle height with a roof rack is approximately 11 feet. Watch for low bridges, awnings, garages, drive-thrus, and branches. Roof & Solar Panels: Do not climb on the roof or walk on the solar panels. Fuel: Return the van with a full tank of D2 diesel. Diesel only, never gasoline. A $100 refueling fee plus the cost of fuel applies if returned less than full. Composting Toilet: Must be used as instructed. Always sit, and never direct liquid waste into the solids bin (keep the trap door closed when urinating). The full security deposit will be retained for any incident of misuse, and additional charges may apply if actual restoration costs exceed the deposit. Sink & Grey Water: Do not wash food particles, grease, or other waste down the sink. Scrape plates and cookware before rinsing. A $150 service fee applies if the grey water tank requires cleaning due to misuse. Occupants: Maximum 2 people overnight. Overnight occupancy is limited to guests listed on the rental. Day visitors are fine. Additional overnight guests require prior written approval. Cleaning & Return: Return the van free of excessive mess, food debris, and personal belongings. Excessive mess requiring additional cleaning is charged at $50 per hour, $100 minimum. Late Return: Return time is 11 AM unless arranged in advance. A 15-minute grace period applies. After that, $50 per hour for the first 2 hours; any portion of an hour counts as a full hour. Beyond 2 hours late, the full daily rental rate is charged. Any damage to the van or breach of these rules will be reported to Outdoorsy and processed through the platform.
