This is a hard-sided folding trailer (ok in Bear country) that folds out to a 31-foot length when camping, but it folds down to a 24-foot length while towing. You are safer in bear country then with a tent trailer. But it has the easy on the gas advantage of a tent trailer. I averaged about 13 MPG across I-80 in Wyoming with a V6 Toyota Tacoma. We had a great experience! Is our first time trying a tent camper and we loved it. It was great to have a heater through the night and to not wake up freezing cold in the morning!
