Allen was fantastic but the awning was not working and made for an annoying trip on the beach after 4pm. Overall great van though.

Our experience with both Allen and the van were excellent! We took the van on a 7 day trip to the Sequoia National Forest and it performed perfectly. It was super convenient to have Allen both drop off and pick up the van at our location. He clearly explained to us how to use everything and was super accessible via text when we had minor issues during our trip. The van has all the amenities and definitely worth the price. I would absolutely rent from Allen again and highly recommend this van as the perfect size for a couple enjoying a longer getaway trip!

Allen was very helpful and accommodating throughout the trip. Thankfully I only called him once! Van was excellent. I boondocked the whole time - so discovered the induction stove top didn't last long, but he supplies an alternative butane stove (that I didn't end up needing). One night I think the heat turned off as a depleted the house battery too much - but the solar charges things quickly in the AM, or you can just run the engine a bit. The heater works really well, and given the weather I didn't need the AC (which needs shore power anyway) and there is good airflow throughout the van, and the magnetic closure to the screen for the side door is great. There are blackout shades that are really helpful. The cassette toilet apparently could have used more water to get the TP out, but was easy to dump otherwise (although I admit to not using it to go #2 much to make it easier). Driving the sprinter van is really easy - I was able to brave LAX traffic at the end no problem. Overall not inexpensive, but a good first time out for me in a class B! And Allen is a great host.
