Vlad was accommodating, kind, and provided clear instructions. He handled a false damage claim by apologizing and canceling it after realizing his mistake.

The truck is fun, runs well, and is easily mobile for camping, though gas can be a factor. It includes comfortable bedding, full camping gear, and modern interior tech like Apple AirPlay.

4.0Experience with the pick up/drop off and the vehicle itself was great. The car is as pictured and worked perfectly. The bedding was obviously freshly washed and smelled great. The car was clean, ran very well and was really comfortable for sleeping I had to remove a star because of what occurred after the trip concluded. The host sent a messaging stating we had caused a scratch to the vehicle and asked whether we would like a claim filed or if we would want to pay for it. Upon request, the host sent a photo of bumper damage that has been there prior to our trip (the pre-trip photos the host posted showed them and I had pick up photos). The host requested payment outside of Outdoorsy for the damage. I reported this to Outdoorsy and advised the host of this. I later received a notification of an insurance claim through Outdoorsy, followed closely by an apology message from the host indicating he had made a mistake and upon reviewing the damage, it was not something we were responsible for causing. I was advised by Outdoorsy the claim had been cancelled. This left an unfortunate taste in our mouth after what had been an incredible experience and trip. I would just advise future renters to ensure they take plenty of pre- trip photos, regardless of the vehicle they rent to avoid any potential issues.

5.0This was easily one of the great weeks of my life. The truck was outfitted perfectly for two and had everything we needed for a semi rugged and easily mobile camping trip. The mattress is comfortable with sheets and blankets and sleeping bags all included, the awning is easy to use and very sturdy, everything we needed to cook and clean was included. The cars interior was in great shape and had been upgraded to accommodate either android phones or Apple AirPlay making it easy to navigate the southwest. Vlad was a very accommodating host and finding the pick up spot was easy. The current price of gas didn’t do me any favors, but that’s completely out of anybody’s control. If I ever make it back to the southwest from Kentucky, I will 100% check again to see if this truck is available.
