Moonbean! Sprinter Adventure Van

I had a wonderful 7-day trip in the 2022 Mercedes Benz Sprinter across 2,300+ miles of historic Route 66. The drive spanned seven different states ranging from Illinois to New Mexico and I felt so at home in the Sprinter every mile of the way. Bogdan and his family were gracious hosts and he did a fantastic job of familiarizing me with the Sprinter before my trip began. Outdoorsy did a great job of delivering communications both before and during the trip and I felt so prepared and organized as a result. I could not be happier with how successful the trip was.

My wife and I rented the Moonbean campervan for 8 days and 7 nights on a trip along Lake Michigan, visiting South Haven, Saugatuck, Frankfort, Petoskey, and Mackinac Island. Our favorite stop was the breathtaking Sleeping Bear Dunes. The Moonbean was perfect for us. At 19 feet, it offered plenty of space inside while still being compact enough to easily park during day trips. The auxiliary battery powered all the appliances with no need to connect to campground electricity. As first-time campervan users, we also appreciated how clearly labeled and intuitive everything was—it made setup and travel stress-free. We’ve already shared our great experience with friends and neighbors and would highly recommend renting the Moonbean from Bogdan. He was responsive, thoughtful, and made the whole process easy.

The van was delivered nice and clean when requested. It is a Mercedes Sprinter that has the modern safety features including blind-spot monitoring. It is 19' long and was remarkably easy to drive. It sleeps 2 and has a microwave oven and induction cook-top. It went 2 to 3 days for me on solar power and batteries alone before requiring a plug-in recharging hookup. The layout and floorplan of the van is very efficient and things were easy to reach. Bogden, the owner was easy to reach when I was camping when I had a question. When I returned the van, there were no unexpected fees.
