Highly communicative and accommodating
Jake is consistently praised for quick responses, being friendly, detailed, and flexible with pick-up/drop-off times. He proactively assists, like sending forgotten items, compensating for hiccups, and even explaining features during a holiday.
Easy to drive and maneuver
Guests found the van easy to drive, maneuver, and surprisingly good on gas. It's well-equipped with essentials like a propane stove, cooler, and cooking utensils, plus thoughtful extras such as snacks, blankets, and ambient lighting.

5.0We had such a great time! My husband and I live in separate cities so to be able to have this time together was invaluable. The van was cozy, comfortable and stocked with things that made it feel like “home”. It was so nice to enjoy a cup of tea with comfy blankets each evening. We had more than enough storage room for the things we brought, including our inflatable paddleboard. It was very easy to drive and maneuver around parking lots and campgrounds. Jake was an exceptional host. Always responded quickly to our messages and even offered to cover the cost of sending us items that we left behind. This was our first time booking through Outdoorsy and couldn’t be more happy with our experience. We would definitely consider renting from Jake again in the future!

5.0So happy I was able to rent from Jake, he was really easy to work with, prompt, friendly, and detailed. The van worked out great too, having a hard shell in cold weather, decent gas mileage, and the detail amenities (didn’t expect) made my trip much easier!

5.0Great communication from Jake leading up to pickup and with answering my newbie questions about the van. Had a great time with the van over a three week road trip. Would definitely rent with Jake again!

5.0Overall we had a great time! There was a small hiccup with the pick up time, which Jake compensated us for without hesitation. The Bear Den camper wasn't anything overly fancy (which is exactly what we wanted), but had everything we needed along with other thoughtful touches. We loved being able to take our dog with us to explore the North Cascades and to not have to worry about the amount of miles we were driving. Jake was also flexible with us on the return time, which was much appreciated. Jake went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and we'd definitely rent from him again!
