Da Big Kahuna | Go Anywhere Oahu Camper Van

We had the best time in William's camper!!! Has everything you could need. Will definitely be renting again if we ever return to Oahu. And William was also very accommodating to arranging pick up and drop off. Thanks William!

A few things! Firstly, Da Big Kahuna is such a lovely camper. It’s old, gives off the rustic, vintage vibe but functional and comfortable. The air/fan vent really helps pull in cold air from the outside + there’s 2 fans provided for you too! Will take a while to get used to driving the van but otherwise, it worked super well, 0 issues on & off the road. We covered almost the entirety of Oahu in 4 days and had to only pump petrol at the end. Secondly, William is such a great & responsive host. It was our first time in Hawaii, our first time driving & living in a campervan and it was our honeymoon! William was there to reply to all our enquiries and he was nice enough to walk us through the van before handing it over. He has a cohesive & meticulously prepared e-guide that has almost everything you’d need to know, ready for your perusal nearer to your booking date. My fiance and I had a wonderful trip from Seattle on Oahu with Williams Van. No mechanical issues, and we stayed pretty cool the whole time as well! I would definitely rent it again and would recommend to others looking to explored the island worry free! Mahalo

Aloha! I have stayed with Big Kahuna for over 2 weeks, and it was the best decision I could have made by far... To put it into perspective, imagine 23yo guy driving in a badass camper with v8 that sounds like a lion, stopping by and surfing along the way at each beach that looked surfable while listening to Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Bad Bunny and Coldplay, in few words - living a dream. What made this experience as good as it was, was Williams guidance and help when it was needed. He is such an amazing and optimistic guy, that I wish more people got to know. When there were problems we solved them immediately, beside that he can give y'all some cool surf spots aswell! I'd say if you are looking for "living a dream" on the best surf island in Hawaii, that will be your best shot for travelling either alone or as a couple. Mahalo William!

We spent five nights in William's van. As it is quite an old vehicle, we needed a little time at the beginning to get used to it. It was an exciting and eventful time for us, even if we did miss some comforts now and then. In any case, it was a great way for us to get to know the island. William always responded quickly to any questions we had and

We had a great experience! Our host was even kind enough to drive an hour away to fix the windshield wiper. ALSO, saved us at the last minute by providing us a wonderful place to stay and travel!
