4.0The van was very practical, and we really enjoyed it! It could have been a little cleaner when we picked it up. The floors in the driver’s area had quite a bit of dirt, and it looked like the previous guests left some crumbs, which attracted a few ants. The sheets also had some stains. They appeared to have been washed, but the stains didn’t come out. That said, it wasn’t a huge deal for us since we’re not high-maintenance people. We just cleaned it up a bit and embraced the adventure. Other than that, we really appreciated all the thoughtful features, especially the cooler, the water pack, and the sunscreen. Overall, it was a very cool experience, and we had a great time!

5.0pick up and drop off were super convenient near HNL. The van was exactly what we were looking for - clean and more spacious than expected. Lovely way to spend a week in Oahu!

Where can I legally camp with the van on Oʻahu?

You can legally camp at permitted spots like Malaekahana, Kualoa, Bellows, and other city/state parks (permits required). I’ll send you a guide with links and tips after booking. You can also book private, legal campsites through Hipcamp.com — a great option for last-minute or scenic overnight stays with easy van access.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Pickup is super easy — we’re just 5 minutes and a $5 Uber from HNL airport. You can pick up and drop off at our base in Honolulu (2014 Republican St), or I can offer airport delivery if arranged in advance. We’ll coordinate exact timing based on your flight or schedule for a smooth handoff.

I never drove a Large van before, any tips?
A.
Driving a large van is easier than most expect — just take it slow and wide on turns. The van has a backup camera and oversized mirrors to help with visibility. Watch for tree branches and always double-check clearances when parking. I’ll walk you through everything at pickup and include tips in the guidebook!
