Wilson provides excellent, quick communication and detailed recommendations for local sights, food, and camping. He is accommodating, making pickup/drop-off easy, and even offers driving tips.
Reliable island driving with character
Bertha is an older, well-equipped van with reliable driving for exploring Oahu. Features include a solar-powered fridge, outdoor shower, fans, Apple CarPlay, and a popular rooftop deck. The bed is tight for taller guests (>5'10"), and some noted minor issues with A/C on hot days or headlights.

5.0Wilson was a very kind and accommodating host. He gave great recommendations and made sure we had the most accurate info for staying safe and having fun during our trip. The van itself drives great and we had no mechanical issues whatsoever. I would 100% recommend this camper van to anyone considering a trip to Oahu. It was truly an amazing experience!

4.0We had an awesome time traveling in Big Bertha! The van had all the amenities we were looking for, with plenty of storage space to keep everything organized throughout the trip. We especially appreciated the multiple shower options — it made things super convenient while on the road. Wilson, the host, was incredibly helpful and accommodating, making sure all our requests were taken care of and communication was smooth from start to finish. A couple of small notes: if you’re taller than about 5'10", the bed can feel a bit cramped, and the air conditioning could use a little improvement on hotter days. Other than that, everything worked great and we really enjoyed the experience. Overall, Big Bertha was the perfect companion for our trip — comfortable, well-equipped, and full of character.
