Come test ours to make sure it’s what you want! Can’t decide between the Merceds and Ford? Try ours first…. Let’s start with the AWD! Yes it’s amazing. There are multiple modes from normal to slippery to mud ruts. It’s soooo good in bad weather/snow. Extremely impressed with Fords system. The eco boost motor is a dream to drive, very smooth and plenty of power on tap! This is the tall roof, mid length. Total length is 19 feet which makes it super easy to park and is one my daily drivers. Safeway parking lot on a Friday night, no problem getting in tighter spots. The tall roof doesn’t work on most drive thrus and garages though. For us we wanted to be able to stand up in the van which we love! The van has the highest level of trim package which was worth it. Nice seats and navigation plus a nicer dash and great stock stereo with xm radio make it well worth the extra cash. Fully insulated and properly trimmed out the walls are quiet and warm. A maxi vent fan circulates air and keeps the van fresh. A 2000 amp hour smart battery system adds plenty of off the grid power for remote camping. A microwave, convection cook top and plenty counter space make for great cooking off the grid! Adding wheels and tires was a big one for me. The awd transits come with a offset rim that makes it hard to find decent looking wheels. After years of searching I found the owl van ford transit wheels and love them and wrapped them with Faulken wild peak 255s which are fantastic. We spent the winter in Baja in the van and the new wheels and tires where amazing. We did the van compass lift with Monroe struts in Front which made the ride even better. 22 gallons of water and a Bosch hot water heater make hot shower and rinse offs a delight. Swivel passenger seat makes camp living very comfortable as you relax away from the hustle and Bussel of life. Attention to detail as well as a vision to make the van as well thought out as possible have been the goals. Out door lights on the side as well as separate lighting for unloading in the back are all features we tested and added on. Very comfy bed makes for a great nights sleep! Come check out our van! Way too many add ons and cool things to mention…Solar, Hot water, Yasbo heater, tons of lighting, comfy bed are all part of what we wanted on our checklist…..we are a very active family and take advantage of Hood Rivers amazing water sports and haul a lot of gear….one of our goals was to build the van in a Hybrid way so we could have an amazing camper van but also make it when we weren’t hitting the camp sites but hitting the water the bed comes out very easily and allows for tons of gear storage! What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

Fly into Portland and we will have the van waiting for you for a service fee of $200 each way. Easier yet come to Hood River and we will give you the complete walk around of the van and answer all your questions about the build, what we would do differently for version 2 etc. you will live this van, we have it dialed in and will share our knowledge and tips and tricks. Hood River is AMAZING to explore in a van. We have a very private beautiful camp spot available as well. Perfect location
