Janice Joplin is newly converted and ready for off-road adventures!This 2018 4x4 3L diesel is lifted and gets 800km to the tank making it a cost effective road triper. New Toyo Open Country tires make her a safe winter driver.She comes with: 2 front passenger seats with space for your furry friend in between (one seat swivels backwards) and a second row of seats that can accommodate 2 people and a car seat.A fully stocked kitchen including running water, a sink (with outdoor shower capabilities) a basic stove, solar powered inverter for electronic charging, a fridge, fan with basic climate control, and power/ speakers throughout. Please note this conversion is on the more basic/simple side of things. It has minimal electricity. There is a rear diesel heater and a factory one.The rooftop deck and ladder is great for sunset watching, extra gear storage, or fits a tent for sleeping 2 extra people.The main bed is easily convertible from a twin into a king. (Please note the bed is bunk style, as this is a medium roof sprinter, and bikes fit underneath the bed ( ~3 ft tall bed space) .Mountain bike storage for 2 bikes and gear underneath the bed, or a small sleeping space for a third person accessed from the rear doors. Can be arranged to suit your need. She also has a full tow package and 2000kg towing capacity.Please note: this is a medium height sprinter, not tall. The inside height is 5’5”.The van is available from Golden or Invermere. I will not do deliveries to Calgary airport for bookings under one month in duration. I have secure parking at my house for you to leave your vehicle if needed. 100 miles (160KM are included) per day, with overage charged at 0.5CAD /KM .

The van was loved, well maintained, easy to drive, and quite comfortable. It was clean, well appointed, ran great, and was in good shape, making it easy to tour.

Fantastic and friendly host. Heather Rose was easy to work and accommodating regarding pickup and drop off times. We loved the van and found it quite comfortable. We drove to Invermere to pick it up and Heather had a safe parking spot near where we left our car. This van is the perfect vehicle if you want to spend some time in the Kootenays and the mountains of BC and Alberta. It is set up to handle up to 4 mountain bikes. She's a well loved Sprinter, well maintained, easy to drive and comfortable (basic no frills & all you need). We have already recommended "Janis Joplin" to friends and relatives. We had an amazing week in the Golden/Radium/Banff/Lake Louise area. Having a van made it so easy to tour from place to place. We left our campsite at dawn, pulled into the Lake Louise parking lot and went back to sleep! It was clean and well appointed and easy to drive. The van is more "warm dry tent on wheels" than traditional RV - but that makes a huge difference when you are moving from place to place and don't need to take down or put up a tent. Raised bed was comfortable trhough the low ceiling took a bit of getting used to. We were able to sleep 3 with one (shortish) person in the back under the bed. So nice to be able to travel together - most vans only have space for 2. Heather was a pleasure to work with and included some extras that made the trip super special. We definately made lifetime memories! Five campgrounds in 6 days!

The van is in good shape and drives really well. Heather was very friendly and accommodating, dropping and picking up the van in Banff. The inside is simply furnished, with some basic camping equipment. Overall a great experience in the beautiful Canadian Rockies!
