My new Jayco 170BH bunkhouse is available for rent starting April 1st. This unit comfortably sleeps 4 with a full Queen bed and two bunks, along with a dinette table and a convenient bath with a tub/shower and commode. And at around 3000 pounds dry weight, it can be pulled by larger SUV's and light trucks. There is a two (2) night minimum. No extra add-ons. All bedding supplied and towels supplied. 4 Camping chairs included. Pet Friendly (with prior approval), Festival and Tailgate friendly. A Yamaha generator (inverter) is also available for dry camping at $ 20.00 per day. A weight distribution hitch is also supplied for safer towing. Will consider delivery to a campground in the Crystal Coast, NC areaWas ist inbegriffen•Everything is included. Just bring your food and clothes. A coffee maker, toaster and flat grill are included. The basic kitchen utensils are included, along with all linens, towels, pillows and comforters. • No Night Time Towing; 30 minutes before Sunrise and 30 minutes after Sunset. • No Smoking or Vaping inside Camper • No Access to Roof Allowed • Pets must receive prior approval. • Tailgating and Festivals require rental of Yamaha Inverter; no private generators allowed, unless previously approved. Construction type generators produce "modified sine wave" energy or "dirty" power that can harm sensitive electronics and components in the camper. Use of an "Inverter" producing "clean" power will be considered. Construction generators are also considerably noisier than inverters.

Is the weight distribution hitch easy to install and detach.

A.

Yes, the Equalizer is very easy using the supplied attachments and cotter pins. Once you hook up your tow vehicle to the hitch ball, then raise the camper on the supplied blocks. By doing this, you reduce the pressure on the hitch and the support bars are easy to install or detach is you want to move your tow vehicle. A complete demo will be done at the time of pickup and a pictorial will be supplied to follow.

When I'm dry camping, how do I use the Yamaha inverter (generator) to power the AC and other appliances?

A.

The Yamaha inverter supplies "clean" power to the camper. MOST IMPORTANT is to start the generator and let it run on full power for at least three (3) minutes before plugging in the 30 amp cord. On the face of the generator, there is a switch that changes the unit to "Eco Mode", which typically can run the AC for extended hours and save fuel. A full pictorial will be supplied covering the basic steps to operate. If MW will be in use, turn off the AC briefly to use. Guide is provided.
