Welcome to KOA KEA (Hawaiian for “White Coral”)—your fantastic home away from home. She’s a camper conversion van ready to take you on an incredible journey through Kauai.
KOA KEA is a Beauty with many amenities.
She features a large queen-size bed on a platform, with plenty of storage underneath.
Dark Tinted Windows, Custom cabinets surround you all around up top and a custom kitchen with bamboo cabinets, drawers, and butcher block countertop. Built-in stainless steel sink with gooseneck faucet as well as propane stove, built right into the countertop.
We also have a high voltage generator for all of your plug-in needs, coffee pot, overhead lights, inverter for charging, as well as Bluetooth speaker.
Add to that our incredible list of camping gear, linens, towels, bedding, cookware, dish soap, etc and you have all you need on your journey around the world’s most beautiful island.
We as your hosts have been in business since 2018, and with our seven years of experience, giving campers an incredible insight, guidance and experience, we are here to make your itinerary perfect with all of the touches that you need for unforgettable memories for a lifetime to come.
Note: drivers will be asked to provide their own insurance coverage as outdoorsy is only “excess coverage.”
Also drivers must be 25 or older.

We highly recommend Kumu Camp, which is a private camper you can sleep in the vehicle. They provide hot showers, hot coffee in the morning and Wi-Fi and all of the kitchen amenities. Plus, there is beachfront camping.
Other great campsites include Anini beach, Anahola & Waimea State Park.

Stephanie provided activity and food recommendations, assisted with troubleshooting, and maintained smooth, professional communication. She was described as easy to work with and thoughtful, even supplying coffee.
Efficient driving, comfortable living
The van delivers great gas mileage and features a very comfortable bed. It's well-equipped with a kitchen, stovetop, sink, power bank, excellent driving AC, and ample storage, making it ideal for island exploration.

5.0Calling all adventurers!! This is such a great way to slow down and really take in Kauai. Steph's camper van is homey, comfy, and completely unique. Plenty of storage space for all your belongings; move-in and get organized with all the overhead cupboards and leave your luggage under the bed. Speaking of the bed...we had our best night's sleep on the mattress of this van. Park on the beach, open the rear doors and let the ocean lure you to dreamland while the Tradewinds keep you cool...no need for AC as the cross breeze is absolutely perfect. But while driving, this van cranks the AC to your desired level for added comfort. Hit up the local grocery stores and grab some dinner - the kitchen is well equipped with all your cooking needs, and the stovetop propane cooker is easy to light and maintain. I highly recommend parking at Kumu Camp for your stay. This van parks well down there, the locals and management are friendly, and the beach has fun waves to play in. If you're looking for a unique way to experience Kauai and want to have some unforgettable memories, we highly recommend booking Steph's van for the trip of a lifetime!!! :)
