Matilda is a vintage Shasta from the 60’s and has been given a new lease on life with a recent remodel. She has spent most of her life in the desert of Joshua Tree, California but has recently moved east as our family has relocated.We are located in Winston-Salem, NC. Currently we are offering delivery and setup to local state parks, campgrounds, or vacation rentals. Primarily we have experience with Hanging Rock State Park, and Pilot Mountain State Park, but we are comfortable discussing your camping desires. Matilda makes an excellent base camp for a small party or can be used to add sleeping accommodations to your vacation rental. At only 12’ long and weighing under 1500 pounds, Matilda can fit into the smallest of sites. We are not offering pickup rentals of Matilda at this time, only delivery and setup. She's a vintage gal and we desire to keep her in tip top shape. The queen bed sleeps two and the dinette converts to sleep a child or an adult under 5’6”. Basic cookware, plates, bowls, cups and cutlery are included. We provide fresh linens and pillows. A battery operated cooler is provided as well as the propane stove. Matilda has a 10 gallon fresh water tank and sink. Matilda does not have a bathroom, so you will need to rely on campground accommodations.

5.0Host was responsive and helpful with suggestions. The trailer is quaint and has a homey old school rustic appeal. It was perfect to give us a bit of shelter from the desert in the wintertime. It made the camping experience a total joy.
