Communication and reliability inconsistent
Many found Hau helpful and flexible with pickup/drop-off. However, one renter experienced host absence at delivery, irritated communication, and failure to return items. Several bookings were also canceled by the host.
Experiences critical mechanical failures
While some found it spacious, clean, and easy to drive, one renter reported critical mechanical failures: poor driving, dashboard errors, broken headlight, and non-functional amenities (TVs, water pump, AC, washer). This resulted in an unsafe, curtailed trip.

1.0THIS IS THE WORST RENTAL OF ANY KIND I'VE EXPERIENCE. THE RV WAS COMPLETE TRASH, AND WAS NOT PREPARED FOR MY TRIP. UPON ARRIVING FOR PICK I IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE OWNER WHO DIDN'T BOTHER TO BE PRESENT FOR DELIVERY AND HE (HAU) WAS IRRITATED THAT I CALLED HIM. HE RESPONSE TO ME WAS ' WHY AM I CALLING HIM SO MUCH'. I HAD NO TIME TO RESCHEDULE WITH A DIFFERENT HOST SO I WAS STUCK. MY WIFE SPEND SERVERAL HRS CLEANING THE RV WHICH I WAS CHARGED A PREP FEE. WHEN ON THE ROAD THE RV DROVE LIKE CRAP, AND I RECIEVED CONTINUOUS ERRORS ON THE DASH TO THE POINT MY WIFE AND I WASN'T COMFORTABLE WITH OUR ORIGINAL PLANS SO WE HAD TO CANCEL OUR TRIP WHILE ON THE ROAD FOR A MUCH SHORTER ONE IN FEAR THAT THE RV WOULD BREAK DOWN. NOTHING WORKED, NO TV'S, WATER PUMP.....ETC. AND AT THE TAIL END OF OUR TRIP WE HAD NO AC. I ALSO GOT PULLED OVER FROM POLICE ABOUT THE BROKEN HEAD LIGHT WHICH I WASN'T EVEN AWARE OF. THIS FURTHER COMPLICATED THE TRIP BECAUSE WE NOW WERE ONLY ABLE TO TRAVEL BY DAY AND WASTE PRESCIOUS TIME DRIVING DURING THE DAY WHEN WE SHOULD'VE BEEN ENJOYING OUR VACATION TIME WITH THE KIDS. MY SONS CLOTHING IS LOCKED IN THE WASHER BECAUSE IT ALSO FAILED TO WORK AND WE WERE FORCE TO LEAVE MY SONS CLOTHS BEHIND. THE OWNER ALSO FAILED TO RETURN THEM AS WELL. THERE IS MUCH MORE TO MY DISSATISFACTION BUT I'LL LET THE PHOTO'S SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I'LL BE FILING A CLAIM FOR A FULL REFUND. RENTERS BEWARE, DO NOT RENT THIS RV FROM THIS HOST OR YOU'LL BE VERY SORRY. OUTDOORSY, PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS HOST FOR NEGLIGENCE. THE RV IS NOT MAINTAINED AT ALL AND SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET HURT BECAUSE OF THE UNSAFE CONDITIONS. I'M PISSED.
