Meet Helga, a real classic!Helga is a 1995 VW Eurovan with a camper conversion by Winnebago. It has a manual five-speed transmission, stereo, and air conditioning (when the engine is running).Helga features two double beds (one on the main level; the other in the loft, requiring a bit of a clever maneuver), a two-burner propane cook stove, small refrigerator, running water, and lights. It has a propane furnace. There is a water sprayer just inside the rear lift-back hatch that can use for a simple (unheated) outside shower.The driver’s and passenger’s seat swivel to face the living/kitchen area. When not made into a bed, the rear seat holds two people. Two small tables connect to the counter.The top folds flat while traveling, and pops open when camping for headroom and for access to the upper bed. There is a collapsible awning to give you shade just outside of Helga.The refrigerator can run on AC (when Helga is plugged into external AC), DC (from the onboard cabin battery), or propane. There are numerous DC electric outlets, and a few AC outlets (that work when Helga is plugged into external AC).Helga comes with many kitchen accessories such as pots and pans.Provide your own bedding our sleeping bags, or we can provide bedding at an additional charge.We are happy to drop Helga off in Leavenworth, Wenatchee and surrounding areas at no additional charge. We can also arrange to drop her off in Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Bothell, Shoreline, Edmonds, Lynnwood and North Seattle for an additional fee or longer rental terms.
