Geared4Utah is a small family business. We prepare each trailer personally and schedule pickups around our full-time work and family commitments. Clear expectations help ensure a smooth rental experience for you and fairness for all guests. All pickups are scheduled by appointment. Please arrive on time. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may incur a 35 dollar late fee. Arrivals more than 30 minutes late may require rescheduling. Missed appointments without communication may result in cancellation without refund. The walkthrough takes about 45 minutes and is important. Rushed walkthroughs often lead to issues during the trip. Please plan enough time for the walkthrough. If you want an early departure, consider picking up the day before after 4:00 pm. Bring your driver’s license. Smoking of any kind is prohibited in or around the equipment. Any smoke odor will result in forfeiture of the damage deposit and additional cleaning fees. No pets are allowed inside the trailer or tent. Any evidence of pets will result in additional cleaning and damage fees. Equipment must remain within the continental United States. Travel on improved dirt roads is permitted. Any off-road damage, including rock chips and tree scratches, is the renter’s responsibility. Renters must follow all laws, speed limits, towing regulations, and campground rules. Renters are responsible for all taxes, fees, tolls, campsite charges, parking fees, and penalties. Any unpaid fees will be charged to the renter plus a 100 dollar administration fee per violation. Any violation may result in forfeiture of the entire security deposit. In the event of a breakdown or accident, contact Geared4Utah immediately. Failure to notify us may result in the renter being responsible for all repair costs. Only approved drivers may operate the tow vehicle. No passengers are allowed in or on the trailer while moving. Do not overload the trailer or tow vehicle. Nothing may be stored on top of the tent.
