"Scout", as she was named, was featured in the Spring 2016 issue of Airstream Life detailing her remodel from the ground up. This 1983 Airstream Limited 34' received a complete body off frame remodel including a new reinforced frame. The inside was completely rebuilt with a new layout able to comfortably sleep 6 people with three memory foam mattresses, including a king bed in the rear. It has one of the largest bathrooms of any Airstream, complete with a walk in shower and bench seat.Master bedroom has a built in closet with drawers, TV and DVD player. The hallway features custom built in bunk beds and storage perfect for kids or small adults. Living area has room for 6 people and a dining room solid wood table that folds flat to create a queen bed. The living area also has built in storage and a TV with CD/DVD player. Kitchen features solid surface countertops, marble tile backsplash, large stainless steel under mount sink, stainless steel refrigerator, stove top and convention microwave oven. There are solid Brazilian walnut hardwood floors throughout with painted white walls. Gray and white striped awnings cover most windows with a large awning to create an outdoor space.Almost everything is brand new including two air conditioners, water heater, furnace, all appliances, plumbing and electrical service with 50 amps. An exterior entertainment area with marine grade CD player and speakers is built in. Tires are also brand new. Entire Airstream was professionally renovated in 2014 and resealed in 2019. The only things not done are the windows (a few are slightly foggy). And the shell has not been polished. Other than that, she is a beautiful Airstream capable of being a traveling tiny home for all four seasons.
