We call our 1987 VW Westfalia Amida-bus because of the good vibes that surround it. It is completely original except for a few upgrades to the lighting and a new great sounding stereo, and of course maintenance done over the years. You will feel transported back to the 20th century in a cool time machine.Because of it's vintage, we can only rent Amida-bus for trips within a 300 mile radius of our home in Lyme, NH. We hope to extend its range in the future.Amida-bus is not for you if you're hoping to be in the left lane on the interstate chasing time. Westafalia's were not built for speed. They were built for fun. Take the road less traveled and enjoy the view. The interstate has its place, and our Westy can cruise at 60-65mph, but you'll have much more fun on the state highways.Our Westy has a 4-speed manual transmission.The Westy sleeps 4, 2 up and 2 down.It has a two-burner propane stove and a sink that's fed by a 10gal water tank.***There's currently no fridge but we provide a cooler.
