Ever wanted to try out the dream of living in a van? Live a kite vagabond life at the best kite spot in Europe or discover Sicily by Van.This Citroen Jumper L3H3 Camper Van, which is our home when we are not working/travelling, is super cosy and has everything a camper’s heart could desire for a nature adventure. We built the interior ourselves last year and tried and tested the Camper driving it down from Austria over 5 months to reach Sicily. The space
The Van has a soft bed (140 x 195 cm) covered with a Balinese white cotton “heaven” with various cushions and blankets for warm and cooler nighttimes.A fully functional kitchen (see items below), a small work and dinner area and a large storage under the bed. Solar panels and a Lithium battery ensure you have lights (work lights and cosy colourful LEDs), can recharge appliances and use the fridge.Kitchen:
- 30 liter compressor fridge
- Sink with running water (20l tank) and additional tanks (25l + 10l + 5l) and a grey water tank (20 l tank)
- 2 panel gas cooker and a 5l gas container
- Oven form (Omnia) for the gas cooker
- Espresso cooker (2 large cups)
- Storage drawers for food items
- Bamboo wood kitchen counter
- Plates, cutlery, tea, water and wine glasses, 2 pans, 2 pots, steel salad bowl, TupperwareLiving and work area
- Bamboo wood table for 2 people working (or 4 people having wine)
- Good LED lightening
- Lots of storage
- Pine wood ceiling
- Small ceiling window for airflowConnect 230 V or 12 V appliances (e.g. laptop, mobile, speaker) to the solar-powered batteryPlease note, the Van does not have a toilet. You can either use the nature (respectfully) or the facilities of your kite school or a nearby café. We can point you to good places.
The Camper is self-built, which makes it more unique, yet it is not a perfect, luxury build. It does have its quirks, with which we will help you by giving a detailed manual and a supportive contact at the spot.
