Renovated & Modern 2008 Fleetwood Pulse

Let me start off by saying I never write bad reviews. My motto is usually, "if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all". This case is an exception. My husband, 4 year old daughter and I rented this RV for 2 weeks July 29th - August 13th. It started with smaller issues: a broken seatbelt, cabinet doors that would open during the drive, etc., but the problems quickly escalated into bigger ones: no hot water, water tank indicators that weren't accurate (we were told the grey water panel wasn’t working properly but that the black water panel was - it wasn’t), an AUX battery that died, leaving us with a fridge full of spoiled food, followed by a dead car battery. We were in remote camping areas where we didn't have phone service so many of the problems could not be communicated immediately to the owners. To their credit, when we did reach out, they were responsive and tried to help. What we didn't appreciate was their overall lack of acknowledgement for the RV's malfunctions and their defensive attitude at the end of the trip. They repeatedly said their RV is properly serviced every 3 months which may be true, but then that simply means that the RV, even with regular service checks, is generally not in good condition and unreliable. They offered some compensation but it was a minimal amount so we filed a claim through Outdoorsy. Turns out Outdoorsy does not protect its renters. They protect the owners, so don’t expect them to help you out much if your RV turns out to be problematic. The bottom line is that this RV, despite supposedly being maintained, did not function properly. We would NOT recommend renting it, especially if you have young children and/or plan on being in remote areas. The owners will be helpful if you reach out to them, but when all is said and done, they may also skirt responsibility and turn issues around to be your fault. It was hands down the most unpleasant and stressful vacation we'd ever taken.

A nice sized RV and I really appreciated the decorative touches. Naomi was very available for communication throughout the trip. There was an issue with the sensors but they said they were taking it in right after the trip. Overall a good experience.

Johnny and Naomi have the most amazingly renovated RV. Super cozy! It met all our needs for a family of four with 2 littles. There's plenty of space in the top cabinets to put snacks, books, and activities and closet space to put all the towels and cloths in the bathroom. The RV was fully stalked with cookware and dishware. Movie nights with the projector was a smashing hit! Johnny was very thorough in his walk-through. Naomi was very easy to communicate with. We loved our experience!

Loved the whole experience. Darling vehicle and wonderful host. Would definitely rent again.

Johnny and Naomi were absolutely fantastic hosts! This was our first time renting an RV so we didn't know anything. Johnny and Naomi were patient and kind and they walked us through all of the details. We contacted them a few times on our trip with questions and they were extremely responsive and eager to help us resolve our issues. As for the RV, it's totally decked out for a fun family getaway! It's beautifully restored with thoughtful design details like plants, and colorful pillows. It's also fully stocked with all of the kitchen utensils and supplies you could need - even some spices! Our kids loved watching movies on the projector and sleeping on the top "bunk." We had a really great time thanks to Johhny and Naomi. We can't wait to rent their RV again!
