1This was not a good experience for us at all. This is going to be a long review, but I wanted to mention everything so the next renters would be aware of everything we had problems with and everything that was reported back to Lewis RV about. We rented the 2023 Conquest motorhome called Katy so we could take our teenagers and their elderly great-grandparents to visit family in NM for Christmas. When we got there to pick up the motorhome we were told that while dewinterizing they unit they found out the water lines were leaking and they were currently working on getting that fixed. After that repair was completed we started our walk through. During the outside walk through it was mentioned that our propane tank, that per the contract was supposed to be full, was only at 60% so they would have it filled for us. We noticed one of the slides did not close all the way, but were told they were aware and it wouldn't be a problem. When we got in the motorhome for the inside walk through I saw water running across the full length of the kitchen and dining room area floor. This led them to discover the shower was also leaking (they had used the shower to confirm the water lines were repaired.) They came in and fixed that leak as well. Our pick up time was 1:00, and it was after 3:00 before we got to leave with the RV. While packing our stuff into the camper we noticed that while they charge to clean and sanitize the motorhome, there was something sticky in the bottom of both the cabinets above the sink, so they couldn't be used until we scrubbed them. Early the next morning we head out on our 13 hour drive to our destination. While driving our 80+ year old passengers, who rode on the couch where the messed up slide was, could feel and everyone could hear the air coming through that slide. The overhead cab squeaked terribly with any slightest bump in the road. The screen door didn't seem to fit properly as it made a rattling sound while we were driving. On top of those issues, one of the fresh air vents in the ceiling would not stay closed while driving down the interstate due to the piece used to open and close the vent being stripped. Imagine driving at 65 mph down the interstate and having to listen to a roof vent flap open and slam shut, an almost constant squeak, a screen door rattle, and the sound of non-stop wind blowing through. The toilet ran and wouldn't close completely after flushing unless you pulled the handle up all the way, which we didn't notice until it ran all night, which then caused us to have to dump the black tank after the first night. We stayed with family during the day and slept in the motorhome, so we would only use the propane overnight. On our 4th morning we woke up to it cold in the camper, even though the heater was turned on, which lead us to discover (and they later admitted) they had never filled the propane bottle even after we were told it would be done. We had to repack all our stuff that was in the camper so we could drive it into town and have more propane put in. After returning the motorhome we were charged an additional $7.99 which we were told was to replace a broken handle to the black tank. When I questioned how the handle could have been broke, considering we had dumped the tanks right before we returned the camper and the handles were fine, we were told sometimes hitting potholes is enough to cause the handles to break. The last and least important item, but just 1 more frustrating thing, the contract stated we were to receive 2 rolls of toilet paper with the rental, but it failed to mention it would be 2 partially used rolls of toilet paper. We booked this trip to make lifelong memories with family, but we didn't expect all these issues to be a part of the memories. Also, just a heads up to anyone who may still interested in renting this motorhome, one of the seatbelts in the couch is way to short so you have to buckle literally under the cushion. The mattresses on the bunkbeds are really just fuzzy pads that are only about a half inch thick, so make sure you have a topper or some kind of cushion to put over them if you plan on having anyone sleep in the bunks. One last thing, the very loud water pump is under the queen size bed, so make sure no one flushes the toilet or uses a sink overnight otherwise the pump will wake up anyone trying to sleep in that bed or anyone who is not a hard sleeper that is in the camper.

5The RV we rented was the Katy. It was very nice, maintained and clean. It slept all 7 of us very comfortably. Outdoorsy is such a great way to take your trip or vacation in style and comfort, and in the most relaxing and enjoyable way. It was a awesome experience that we will definitely be doing again in the future. I can not say enough about the pleasure it was working with Brittany and the folks at Lewis RV. They went out of their way to help and answer any questions we had and were just absolute Rockstars. Would definitely recommend and be doing business with them in the future.
