What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

We are quite flexible on times of day for pick-up and drop-off. We can also deliver for a small fee.

How is the mileage fee calculated? Is it per-day or for the entire trip?

A.

The final mileage fee (if any) is calculated based on your full trip. For example, if your booking is for 7 days then you would have 700mi included in your trip. If you drove 400mi on the first day and 400mi on the last day for a total of 1000mi then you would pay a fee based on the total mileage driven. 800mi (total) - 700mi (included) = 100mi. You would owe a fee only for the 100mi overage.

We want to take a trip to the mountains out west, is your RV up to the task?

A.

We have traveled comfortably in this RV across the country and back. A recent rental was to a multi-generational group who drove nearly 6,000 miles and did not have any complaints. We have crossed most of the mountain ranges in the lower 48 states without difficulty. As always, be aware of the route you choose and be sure to drive over mountain passes during good weather. Also, respect all truck signs (particularly those about steep inclines) and use a low gear on the way down!

Will your RV fit our group size?

A.

The RV actually has 11 seats, each with a seatbelt. In addition to the standard pilot and co-pilot captains chairs, there is a dinette with 2 forward-facing seats and two rear-facing seats. There are also two side-facing couches, one with 3 seats and one with 2 seats. Our RV is best configured to sleep 6 or fewer adults. You can fit a few more if some children are in the group. 11 would be a tight fit for a long trip or for sleeping but will fit comfortably traveling shorter distances.
