This was my second time renting this one of a kind VW bus and the experience was even better! Allan is a gracious host who is communicative and accommodating making the rental process painless. In terms of the vehicle. I've driven many VW bus' in various conditions with different quirks. This bus is in excellent condition aesthetically and runs beautifully. Easy and so fun to drive. Allan even added a new sound system which easily pairs with your phone and sounds great. Can't say enough positive things. If you are considering renting, consider yourself lucky you found this listing!

Allan was a fantastic host and we had a wonderful time in his VW van. Dreaming of our next CA coastal camping adventure!

Couldn't have been better. Allan was an excellent host. Timely, responsive and just a good guy. He's using the bus as a way to bring this special experience to people, not for the money. Car was even better than the pics. I've rented a few VW buses in the past. They can be quirky. This one ran very well. In great condition and he made some really cool modern upgrades. Feel very lucky and fortunate to have the opportunity to drive it for a couple days.
