Cruise and explore the Pacific Northwest in the original quintessential adventure rig! This beloved van is named "Willie the Westy" he may be in his third decade, but he is well kept, clean, cool and better yet, mechanically reliable! Patrons will need to know how to operate a manual transmission, as this terrestrial exploration vehicle is a 4 speed. Please note this is a aging vehicle, he was not meant to set land-speed records and will comfortably do ~60 mph on your excursion. Let others pass you who are presumably bogged down with the sense of emergency which takes away from the experience of a journey. The van does have some modern touches, like a bluetooth radio, ample charging ports and LED overhead lights. Also, he does not have air conditioning or cruise control (all the better to really experience the drive!). For those that know, the view out of the front windscreen of a Vanagon is truly unique. Was ist inbegriffenLinens, 2 camping chairs, cookware, plates, cups and silverware for 4 people, coffee percolator, utensils, rotomolded cooler (will need to supply your own ice; cooler retains ice for about 5-7 days), roof cargo basket & tie-downs and camp tools. The van has an auxiliary battery with multiple 12v ports for charging phones, tablets etc. Also, the van will be full on propane to run the stove and/or the auxiliary propane supply for outdoor cooking. We do provide an extension cord and water hose for resupply (the van has 15 gallons of onboard water, which will be full upon rental).Available on request is a propane heater, additional camp chairs, outdoor folding table, outdoor stove, additional cooler, waterproof cargo bag for basket and kayak carrier for roof bars.
