Van Rental Policy for Camping Use Only 1. Purpose of Use: The van is strictly to be used for camping and recreational purposes only. This includes activities such as: - Transporting personal camping gear (tents, sleeping bags, camping cookware, etc.) - Traveling to and from camping sites - Enjoying scenic drives as part of your camping trip 2. Prohibited Uses: - No Cargo Transport: The van must not be used for any commercial cargo transport. This includes: Moving, shipping, or delivery of goods for business or personal profit. Transporting heavy machinery, equipment, or large quantities of materials not related to camping. - No Festivals/Events: Driving to or participating in festivals or other large events is not permitted. - No Off-Road Driving: The van may only be driven on paved, secondary, or gravel roads. Off-road driving is strictly prohibited. 3. Driver Eligibility: Only verified drivers who are 25 years of age or older are allowed to operate the van. 4. Condition of the Van: The van must be returned in the same condition as it was received, barring normal wear from camping activities. Cleaning: Please wipe down surfaces and sweep out the vehicle after use. Waste Management: Empty the cassette toilet and grey water tank before returning the vehicle. Failure to do so incurs a $100 fee ($50 for each). Fuel: Return the van with a full tank of gas. If not, a $50 fee plus the cost of gas will be charged. Any damage or excessive dirt from misuse (i.e., cargo transport, off-road use) will be assessed for repair costs, which will be charged to the renter. 5. Reporting: Report any accidents or damage to the vehicle within 24 hours of occurrence. 6. Geographical Restrictions: Canada Travel: Allowed. Mexico Travel: Not allowed; traveling there will result in the forfeit of your security deposit. 7. No Smoking Policy: No Smoking: Smoking of any kind is not permitted inside the vehicle. Evidence of smoking will result in the forfeit of your security deposit.
