Frequently asked questions

Q.

What size ball will I need to hook up the trailer?

A.

The trailer requires a 2" ball. There will be several in the Tiny House that fit a standard assembly.

Q.

What towing capacity will I need to haul the trailer?

A.

I prefer to tow the Tiny House with my 4Runner V8 which has 7000 lb capacity, but was able to tow with my Ranger V6 with 50000 lb capacity at reduced speeds (particularly uphill).

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

Most evenings and weekends, I can facilitate a drop off in the Bend/Redmond area. I prefer pickup at my property which resides in the Bend city limits.

Q.

When and how can I use the outdoor shower?

A.

The outdoor shower is a solar shower so use is limited to warm days. Duration is limited to about 5-7 minutes. There is a compression cap on the small elbow which is used to fill the reservoir. Pliers are located in the drawers to ensure a tight seal. Pump will be required to pressure the system. Do not inflate it above 25psi or you risk popping the compression cap. Please do not use unless you feel comfortable with it's operation.
