We had a great experience renting the 2015 Forest River FR3 30DS. The owner was a fabulous communicator from start to finish and was incredibly helpful with any little challenges or questions that came up along the way. The unit is 11 years old, so it is important to understand that it is not brand new and should not be expected to feel brand new. That said, it is well maintained, comfortable, and served our family very well. Setup at the campground was very easy, and the instructions were straightforward and simple to follow. We took the RV on a longer trip of over 2,000 miles and felt comfortable and safe the entire time. It handled both local roads and interstate driving very well, and it handled the Black Hills near Mount Rushmore like a champ. I was very impressed with how well it performed. The owner also did a great job with the walkthrough before the trip. The time spent going over the RV was appropriate in both length and content, giving us the information we needed without feeling overwhelming. He also allowed us to park our vehicles at his home while we were away, which was very helpful and appreciated. I would highly recommend both this owner and this rental unit. We had a very positive experience and would not hesitate to rent from him again.
