Jurrasic Journeyer 32-feet Easy-To-Drive RV

This RV is old and crumbling. Brake lights didn’t work, steering issues, cruise control failed. No radio. I don’t think this unit has been maintained mechanically. Probably not safe.

When we received the RV, the toilet tank had not been emptied and was full. The entire RV smelled like a toilet during our trip until we reached the campsite and emptied the black tank. The fresh water tank was also not filled, so we had no fresh water during our trip. These were minor issues compared to the main problem. After driving the RV for about 10 minutes, there was severe vibration through the steering wheel and the whole cabin. I panicked and contacted the host and explained the situation, she responded that it was a known issue for almost a year and many people had driven the RV with that problem. I recorded a video of the situation, and she advised me to pull over and turn off the engine for a few minutes when it happened. Driving the RV in that condition posed a severe safety risk to my family. We had two kids, ages 9 and 10, and I couldn’t risk their lives by driving such a vehicle. I tried to get an Uber to take my family to the campsite, but it would have cost about a thousand dollars, which I couldn’t afford. We decided to continue driving despite the condition. Our campsite was 4 hours away, but with the RV’s issues, it took us almost 10 hours to get there. It was a terrible experience, and our lives were in danger the entire time. I contacted Outdoorsy customer service to make sure that no one else going through this experience. The RV should not have been rented in that condition; it was a safety hazard for anyone driving it. We had a horrible experience, and my family, especially my kids, were traumatized. At the very least, I would like to be compensated for what my family went through and receive a full refund for our trip. The owner needs to fix the RV so that no other family has to go through what we did.

This was our first RV trip, and what an amazing experience it was with my family. The RV was able to comfortably fit the 5 of us and spacious enough, allowing everyone to enjoy the 10 day road trip. Barbz provided a fully stocked RV and clean, which we really appreciated. This initial trip now has us looking forward to many more RV trips.

Barbara's RV is well maintained and has all the amenities and extras that you need for a RV trip. This was my first time and she and her co-host Victor were flexible with the pickup and drop-off. In terms of the RV - We were 4 adults and 2 kids and we all slept comfortably. The mattresses are very comfortable also. It is easy to cook and the fridge is large. I would highly recommend renting her RV.
