- no climbing on the roof/solar panels
- no smoking/vaping - deposit will be forfeited if evidence of smoking is found
- minimize super greasy/smelly cooking
- don't store fish and shellfish in fridge. We're trying to keep everything fresh for the next guest
- when van is in motion, fans should be closed and off, water pressure shut off
- purchase insurance package through Outdoorsy. If a renter is unable to get approved upon pick-up, typical cancellation fees will applyUpon return:
- Fill the gas tank. If you are unable, we'll take care of it for the cost of gas plus $50
- Empty grey water tank in appropriate location, we will take care of it for $50.
- Remove garbage and clean dishes. If you are unable, we'll take care of it for $50If an issue arises, please contact us before fixing the problem. During the rental, you are responsible for:

5We took the van to Olympic National Park-- started at Kalaloch and worked our way around the north end. It had everything we needed to really enjoy the trip! Everything worked seamlessly-- really an easy-to-use setup. Steve made sure we were confident with the function of the van before we left. He was an excellent host! We had one of the best trips of our lives in this van! We will rent this again the next time we are in Washington!

5Highly, highly recommend this van and renting from Steve. This rig is really well thought out, it has all the creature comforts you need and none of the complicated things that break! A huge 35gal water holding tank, filtered drinking water on tap, plenty of solar power to charge a phone and laptop and even boil a kettle! The bed is super comfy and the roof vent, thermal curtains and blackout shades meant I was comfy across temps ranging from 35F to 86F. The rig also has an outdoor shower that I sadly didn’t have a chance to use. Steve made sure the van had everything I needed - plates, cups, all the cooking things, trash can, cleaning things, even a fly swatter and a dustpan and brush to keep dirt out. It really is a turnkey rig, ready to go. Drives great, small turning radius and fits easily in a normal parking spot. Steve has installed cameras which make backing up easy as pie. One star deducted because I had tire issues on the road - but Steve was awesome behind the scenes, finding the nearest reputable tire shop in the middle of nowhere, OR and calling them so that getting new tires was smooth and as quick as it could be. It wasn’t the van’s or Steve’s fault and honestly, that’s vanlife! I was back on the road and enjoyed the rest of my trip without a worry. Lots of folks were envious of the rooftop deck too - super fun to watch sunsets from up there. Overall 11/10, will rent again :)
