Great host, very responsive. He took time to introduce the whole vehicle to us at pick up, and drop off was easy and smooth. The van is older with some quirks, but it’s been well-maintained. 3 things to note: it has air conditioning when it drives, but not when it’s parked for the night, so warm summer nights might be a struggle; the water/faucet does not work, so plan to bring a water cube to fill up to have in camp; the lower bed needs some sort of foam topper in my opinion. Perhaps that’s included in the add-on bedding package, but we didn’t opt for that. After 2 nights without one, we needed to go to a store to buy one. Everything else was great—loved having the awning and outdoor rug, there was plenty of storage for all our things, the headspace was amazing when the top was popped, the upper bed was fantastic for our kid—like her own little fort up there, and everything functioned as advertised. We’ve been life-long tent campers. This was our first foray into campers/RVs, and we really enjoyed it—We’re already looking forward to our next camper van trip!
