We traveled the country in this camper with our two large dogs for eight months, before upgrading to a larger coach.Homer is a Utilitoy - a new concept, ultra-lightweight trailer that can function as a toy hauler, utility cargo trailer, and very basic travel trailer. Using an innovative composite material that is light, but strong, Utilitoy weighs just 1020 lbs, with a useful payload of 1100 lbs. The aerodynamic profile and light weight allows it to be towed even by small, fuel efficient four cylinder vehicles!In camper mode, the 10' x 6.5' cargo bay serves as a very basic home, with just a little more room than your traditional teardrop given the trailer's height. With no built-in galley or bathroom, Homer provides a simple shelter, augmented by an air conditioner/space heater and queen size mattress. No frills, no distractions, just you and nature!Unpack and make yourself at home by utilizing the storage bins inside. Stow your suitcases under the bed and embrace the nomadic life! We provide clean linens (including towels), basic cleaning supplies in case you need them, and a honey bucket. A bed for your furry friend is available at no extra charge upon request. Homer can quickly transform from sleeper to utility trailer. The cargo bay is waterproof and easily cleaned.
