I started out getting a custom van with a bed in 2008 to see if I liked the concept. I got hooked.
I got my first real RV, a class C Fleetwood Jamboree, in 2011. I didn't get too many road trips in but we did lots of tailgating at Temple U. football games, the Reading Phillies, and Pollo Matches at Tinicum Park in Bucks County.
Now I have my dream RV -smaller and more maneuverable, easier to find parking, with a diesel engine and generator and 2 solar panels on a Mercedes Chassis. We're planning many road trips now -almost every state in the Southeast US, this summer.
Friends and Family are using it and loving it too.
