Now booking for 2019!Betsy is a 1976 Volkswagen Westfalia, restored this year. History on wheels... that you can also live in.In Betsy you're part of a community. You'll get lots of friendly waves along the way and as much conversation in a campground as you want. It's truly a vacation apart from the ordinary. Drop the devices and drop into some perfect camping and connection time (of course, Betsy has 120V power and USB outlets if you do need your devices for a moment or two).There’s something appealing about carrying your home inside of your car, and Betsy is a surprisingly spacious little rolling house in which you’ll find all the basic necessities to remain alive. It has a propane-powered stove and 12V-powered electric fridge. One of the beds is stowed in the roof. There’s a sink to wash your face in the morning, and plenty of available storage areas for dishes, utensils or a few board games.She has an updated interior including a new floor, lighting, painted cabinetry, and upholstery (no 40 year old yuck to spoil the mood). She has hookups for water and electric and will come stocked with a space heater to cozy up for those cold winter camping nights. For mobility, a 7.5 gal water tank and pump are built in, with an auxiliary battery to run the fridge, lights, and accessories on the move!She still has her original engine and transmission, bringing her own personality into the driving experience. She runs great and is very reliable but third gear can be a little tricky (4 speed manual). She has a completely rebuilt suspension, brakes, and steering with new tires and a fresh tune-up.Everything you need to camp will be included. Plates, bowls, mugs, cups, wine glasses, silverware, etc. Pots, pans. A small camp table, camp chairs, lanterns, and various other camping items are included.
